Who Is the artist?

Claude Monet (Oscar Claude Monet/ Claude Oscar Monet) was born on a solemn day 14th Day of November 1840, Giverny, Paris and endured a life full of suffering till the golden old age of 86 on December 5, 1926. He was a man of plentiful talents, one that stood out was his everlasting love for painting. He is a man who has motivated and invigorated many artists to do what they cherish.

Claude Monet had quite a large family. His mother was Louise Justine Aubrée Monet and his father was Claude Adolphe Monet. Claude only had one brother four years older than him named Leon Pascal Monet. Claude had two sons, Michel Monet and Jean Monet.

Although an extraordinary artist, Monet has lived a life full of difficulties and hardships. These included poverty, depression and many calamities. He eventually succumbs to lung cancer, however, his artistic talents were unambiguous at an astonishingly young age. Monet also had two wives, and the first was a model named Camille Doncieux which had later died however had two children before the event. Later on, in the year 1892, Monet had wedded Alice Hoschedé, who was astonishingly sceptical and insecure of Camille. She later shredded all of her photographs and letters.

How does this artwork make you feel?

This artwork gives off a feeling of joy due to the extension of the azure atmosphere and the ground. It reminded me of in December 2017; my family went on a road trip to Cairns. The entire way, the view was filled with pastures and plains with not much else other than the random forest ever so often. It helps me reminisce back to my adolescence when there was nothing to deliberate and worry about—a life filled with no downs.

The image creates a mood which makes you reminisce on everything you relished but are unable to recreate now. This image makes a clutter of discombobulated sensations and sentiments. The aforementioned is how I feel about this image.

Subject Matter

I believe the subject matter (My opinion and not anyone else's) is about how the world we perceive is not really as it seems. We see it as something cruel and full of suffering; however, we can see it in another perspective. We can see it as a place of enthusiasm and passion. A world where everyone has a dream to achieve and has to reach the stars to accomplish it. A world where fish aren't forced to climb trees.
