Spending time with family has always been my thing. You get to see them when they are happy, sad, laughing, crying and smiling you get to see through the good times and the bad times, family is everything. When I returned to class from the break my teacher assigned me and my classmates a writing assignment based on what we did during the Christmas Holiday and what was memorable or special.
Just before the last day of school was over I gave some of my friends a gift. I always hope they like what I get them. When school is over and the Christmas holiday begins I usually go out with my parents because I don't see them because they are always at work. After we would normally go visit some of our families and relatives because they live far from me it's one time a year thing. A family is a place where you can be yourself. It is a place where you are accepted for what you are. This is where you are completely tension free and everyone is there to help you. The family encourages you when you are surrounded by problems. It helps you survive through tough times and bring joy and happiness into life. Seeing my family and giving them gift watching how much my baby cousin has grown knowing that there's another baby on the way was the best of my life.
Good friends are hard to find but the little amount of friends we have is better than a lot. Friends can challenge us, confuse us, and sometimes, we might wonder why we bother. My friends taught me how to be patient, wait my turn, reach out, and try new hobbies for fun. Even if I see my friends in school mostly every day I could not stay home without seeing them so I hung out with them over my Holiday break. Seeing the smiles on their face reminded me of all the fun we had in grade 7, I have never seen my friends laugh so hard and smile for a long time it was a new record.
Sitting down on school day watching all my favorite TV show s on school days is not acceptable in my home. After school to my parents is sitting down have a snack do your homework or project study over and over to get that good grade shower to eat dinner and then go to bed. Over the break I got the chance to watch all my favorite TV shows, crying for most of them. Sitting down and just seeing all the adventure and stories was incredible am not going to lie I had fun sitting down and watching TV.
Christmas all over the world is a special and magical holiday loved by many people both young and old. There is so much to do on Christmas such as visiting family, hanging out with friends and watching Tv. Most of all I hope you had some holiday fun! I hope you enjoy spending time with your family and all the other things you did on those days as for me I enjoyed every bit of it wish Christmas was longer so I have more time to spend with family.
