Roseanne Barr had made her first appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson’, when most females were rarely on his show. When Roseanne made the appearance on the show, she immediately blew up overnight. She had a career that soon led her to be the star on her own show called ‘Roseanne’ and her three ex-husbands had made an appearance on the show, Ben Thomas, Tom Arnold and, Bill Pentland. Roseanne has three TV shows that she is stared in expect ‘The Conners’ when she made an appearance in a couple of episodes then had a death scene because of what she had said and had apologized for.
Roseanne Barr is an amazing, talented, funny, outgoing and smart person. She is a very influential comedian she had done her best work as a mother, sister, and wife on all her TV shows especially ‘Roseanne's Nuts’ that showed her true self and not having to read scripts, she got to live her own life how she wanted in front of cameras, her four children and her husband. Roseanne once said: “The thing women have yet to learn is nobody gives you power. You just take it”. This quote has inspired a lot of people over the years that Roseanne has been big. Roseanne has had her ups and downs throughout her life and especially on her shows. Her TV family and her real family has been there for her for a long time no matter what. On ‘The Conners’ Dan Conner (John Goodman) was her husband and when she ‘died’ he took it very hard. To some people, you could see it was more than ‘just acting’ as you would say. She had impacted so many people’s lives. The success of Roseanne had been started by giving comedians their own sitcoms like for instance, Tim Allen’s show ‘Home Improvement’ and Ray Romano from ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’. The producers of Roseanne’s show would not allow her to have her own name as the title of her show so they named it ‘Life and Stuff’. So many people hate Roseanne Barr just because of what she’s done in the past, but they choose not to see what she's done that's been good. She has been such an inspiring, caring, loving and amazing person to not only her family, but her TV family too. She has made a lot of impressions to other people to be accepting and respectful to others. Now if that isn't a moral ethical lesson from not only a mom, but also a TV mom showing that everyone is the same, then I don't know what is.
Roseanne Barr is a very influential person. She always has been and she has taken over sitcoms in so many people opinions. In one episode of ‘Roseanne’, DJ (her son on the show) did not want to kiss a girl because she was a different race and Roseanne said: “Hey. Black people are just like us, they are every bit as good as us”. And had taught DJ a valuable lesson on how everyone is just as good and just the same as us. Roseanne teaches valuable lessons to not only kids, but also to adults. She is a very influential person.
