Studying abroad can be a life-changing experience for me. It can be said that studying abroad is the best way to learn knowledge, experience, and the quintessence of the country where you are studying. Students who learn abroad are, therefore, more appreciated than students at home, and their future is guaranteed. While I`m aware that moving to a completely new country for the first time in my life can be challenging, I`m looking forward to the wonderful opportunities that it can provide.
There is no denying saying that my country has ample reputed universities that can provide high-quality education, but pursuing a master`s in a foreign country can broaden my horizons. I have always enjoyed traveling and knowing the significance of places since childhood. This opportunity gives me the delight of staying in a new city and getting exposed to traditions and cultures that are different from my own. In addition to that, International universities have also access to resources that made their brand of education so renowned, such as facilities, industry connections, and of course, funding.
It is a known fact that the unstoppable thirst for data is rapidly increasing as new technologies and equipment are being developed. My interest in Data Science bloomed when I started working on a major project during the final year of my undergraduate program, titled Retail Sales Forecasting using Machine Learning Techniques: A comparative performance analysis. This enthusiasm towards Data Science still continued, because, at work, my role relies on working with data. What drove me towards pursuing a Master's in Data Science is my curiosity to know more about the fields that I just touched upon during my undergraduate and working years. I have built a foundation for myself but now I wish to take it further and claim complete proficiency in the field.
Right after deciding that I want to pursue my master`s in data science as an international student, I began a hunt for a country that, not only provides top-class education but also has viable career options. I`ve gone through the best universities for data science all around the globe. As I`m scrolling through the world`s ranking for top universities, most of them are from the UK. So, I went ahead and opened the course details for some universities. The course structure exactly matches what I wanted to learn. Additionally, UK universities provide various options for funding and scholarships to international students that can ease the burden.
The variety of subjects that the UK universities provide will assist me with increasing a larger viewpoint and reflect positive change inside me. Not to mention the knowledge and experience that can help me succeed in future career options. The studying abroad experience and master`s degree from the UK are a great addition to my resume and can help me snag the job of my choice. Studying abroad gives me that extra edge that employers might be looking for.
