Nowadays world is fully dependent on the Internet in all areas of activity. It is used to interact with the people from one place to another place easily. It is the global system that connects the networks and devices by using the Internet protocol.
In 1960s, Robert E. Kahn and Vint Cerf invented the Internet. The workable protocol of the Internet came with the creation of ARPANET it is expanded as the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network. It is used to allow the multiple networks switching into the single Internet, later on slowly developed into worldwide network.
The word ‘Internet’ stands for Interconnected Networks because it is used to connect all types of web servers. It can also be called explained as all the bunch of web sites are dependent on internet like many companies, schools, hospital, institutes, offices, colleges, departmental stores, tickets, etc. The short form of ‘Internet’ is called as ‘net’.
The olden days communication devices like radio, telephony, newspaper, television, paper mail, etc. devices are redefined by the new devices by using the Internet, such as email, Internet telephony, online music, online newspapers, websites, etc.
The whole world is running beyond the Internet because it is used to share the information from one place to another place all over the world like email, video calls, online messaging, many online websites. It is the fastest way to deliver the messages to the people. Without the Internet the whole world runs very slowly.
Nowadays, the schools and colleges are fully dependent on the Internet by online classes and practical labs. By using the Internet, we can gain more knowledge rather than listening to lecture and students will more interacted on it.
Daily updates on news such as sports, entertainment, politics, business, latest new technologies, job related news, online exam booking, etc. are updated instantly. Currently, bus tickets, train tickets are also booked online using the Internet, thus avoiding queuing in front of the ticket office. Main advantage of using the Internet is to store lots of the information and files safely and it can’t be easily removed, it can also be edited in the future.
Many online businesses are running through the Internet, because you can stay at home, it will save travelling time, it is more comfortable to work, being in home we can earn money. By using the Internet, we can shop everything in all over world in many websites on door step and we need not go out and purchase things, by doing so we can save both time and energy. We can shop all types of day-to-day products, dress, furniture, food, medicines, consulting online doctors, etc., and we can also pay through online by money transfer.
Thus, nowadays the Internet has a huge number of benefits and plays a very important role in the daily life of every person in the world. Without the Internet it is quite difficult to handle many things and it takes more time.
