As most of you know my name is Clark Kien Landau and today, I want to tell you something about me that you might not know. I`m not really student council material (though you guys already know this) but I want to help the school become a better place and enhance my skills and that`s why I decided to run for the student council secretary. From the time I was three years old or four maybe, I've learned to write. I think that's pretty early for a kid right? During my high school years every night when I got home from school, I picked up my pen and notebook and I relieved any stress from the day by writing how my days went and doing some doodles.
Let's go to the exciting part of why you should vote for me. First and foremost I am a dedicated student. I may not be student council material but I will wholeheartedly contribute time and effort to the student council. In my free time at school (in between periods or during my lunch), I update the class record on what was going on. During meetings, the secretary must keep a record of the minutes, which means they must write or take notes on what was said.
The secretary must also keep the records confidential. I am extremely organized and would make every effort to avoid losing any papers or completed work, and I am also a reliable and trustworthy individual. I believe myself to be a team player as well. I participate in some sports and help in a variety of ways. I enjoy collaborating with others, despite the fact that I may not appear to do so. Giving and receiving ideas is beneficial. We can come up with fantastic ideas to assist the school and community if we work together.
Student council is a fantastic chance to become active, as well as meet and work with new individuals. I have two years of experience as a class secretary, therefore I am prepared for any challenge and ready to work. I am ready to help our community. I would really enjoy being our student council secretary. If there is a problem that needs to be resolved, I will not give up until we find a solution. I'll bring your issues to the attention of the other council members, and, like learning to write, I'll stick with that issue until we find a solution. And don`t forget to Take note, and vote right! Vote Clark!
