‘Coco’ is an animated movie about a young boy name Miguel; young Miguel has a highly ambitious to be one of his idols that is Ernesto de la Cruz. Miguel is a 12-year-old boy who lives in a small Mexican town. Despite his family's generations-old ban on music, desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the magnificent and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming scam named Hector the two new friends board on an extraordinary journey to reveal the real story behind Miguel's family history.
The main character, Miguel (voiced by way of Anthony Gonzalez), who, despite having once been brought up hating music, wanted to live the lifestyle of a musician, faced with the predicament of lifestyle disruption. He then faces the criticism and judgment of his family, while constantly struggling to locate a way to convince them that music is his passion, and to not join the family business. In his recreation to ‘follow is dreams’ he finds himself on foot amongst the departed souls when he tried to steal the guitar that was once as soon as owned by means of his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voiced via Benjamin Bratt), a legendary singer who he currently simply concluded to be his great-great-grandfather.
