However, the stigma that young black women do not deserve any protection and do not matter has been indoctrinated in many people for years, that the thought of protecting young black women, or black women in general, is negligible. Prejudice and discrimination are not the same concept, however, they are merely similar as prejudice often leads to discrimination. All human beings are equal and should be treated with respect and fairness despite their race, age, gender, sex, social class, etc. Additionally, everyone should be able to live their lives rightly without having to worry about.
