The life of Jesus Christ was very crazy, yet it was amazing with all of his works. Some people think that Jesus and God are two different people, but really they are the same guy. Jesus was an important man that everybody worships today or that we want to believe. He is a man of faith and loyalty. Jesus is the “I am” and he is the son of God. Jesus’s life was truly an eye opener for many believers. There were a lot of up’s and there were a lot of downs in Jesus’s life. Jesus baptised people, he healed people, and most importantly he died for our sins upon the cross.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem around 6 B.C. Jesus mother was named Mary and his heavenly father was God, but his earthly father was Joseph a carpenter. Joseph brought Mary to a stable in Bethlehem where she gave birth to Jesus. There were three wise men there with gifts for Jesus along with many other people. There are some people today who think that Mary had an immaculate conception. Jesus was born into a world where king Herod the Great wanted him dead. Herod felt that Jesus was a threat to him, so he ordered to kill every boy two years and younger. Angels came and told Joseph to take Mary to Egypt and wait for Herod's death. They finally ended up settling in Nazareth in Galilee. A few years have passed and now Jesus is twelve years old. Mary and Joseph take Jesus to the feast in Jerusalem. This feast is called the Passover today. Mary and Joseph had become separated from Jesus. They had found him at the temple with other people. The people were fascinated about how Jesus knew so much. Jesus said to Mary now being found “why were you searching for me? Didn’t you know I had to be in my father’s house” (Luke 2:49). This is a little bit about Jesus early years of his life here on earth.

When Jesus got older he started to teach people about God and how there is a life better than the one they are living. How there is eternal happiness and peace in Heaven. He also talked about there being eternal life with him in heaven for those who spread the word of God and believe in him. John the baptist was one of Jesus's disciples. John was the man who baptised Jesus Christ. Scriptures say that when Jesus left the water after being baptised; “the heavens opened and a voice said this is my son, whom I loved, and I am well pleased. (Mathew 3:16-17) This may have been the most inspiring way that John and everyone truly believed Jesus about who he was. After this Jesus began to perform miracles for thousands of people. Jesus attended a wedding in Cana a town in Nazareth and his mother Mary also attended. She informed Jesus that the wedding party didn’t have enough wine for everyone that attended. Jesus shows that he cares for people's problems by turning six barrels of water into wine. This might have not been that big compared to his other miracles, but it showed everyone what miracles he can do for people. Jesus did so many things for the people on earth he raised the dead, healed the sick, casted demons away, and he even gave food to the needy. Jesus did all these things, because he cares for each and every one of us. Another fact about Jesus’s life can be the time when he fed thousands of people with a few baskets of bread and fish. He was and is the almighty God. Jesus is the light for everyone to see. He will show you the way if you are lost and he will feed you if you are in need. These are ways that Jesus helped us in his lifetime.

Jesus had twelve Apostles and these Apostles were followers of Jesus Christ. Their names were Peter, Andrew, James, John, Phillip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Mathew, James, Thaddaeus, Simon, and Judas. It was said that some of these apostles were given the power to heal other people in need of healing. Jesus healed many people, but he also preached to many people as well. He preached the sermon on the mountain where there were many people there listening to him talk about laws that everyone should follow. For example Jesus says “Blessed are the poor in spirit where there’s is the kingdom in heaven.”(Mathew 5-7) These laws today are very important to the world that we live in today. Jesus set these laws, so that we can become good people and be sin free. If we just follow what he tells us we would be alright in everything we do. Jesus is always with us no matter how far or how much trouble we get into. As long as we believe and try to live by the way he says we should have eternal life with him in Heaven. Heaven is better than all the riches of this world.

Jesus did so many things up to this point, but what really made his disciples believers in him was Jesus walking on water while the disciples were in the boat. The disciples thought that they had seen a ghost until they actually realized it was really him. Peter asked Jesus to allow him to walk on water with him and then Peter walked on water. Peter walked on water until he took his eyes off of Jesus that’s when he started to sink, but Jesus eventually grabbed him and put him back on the boat. The disciples truly believed that Jesus was the son of God and they continued to follow him. Jesus works in mysterious ways, but he is always there to help as long as you believe in him. Yes, you might go through hard times, but that is just Jesus testing you to see if you have faith in him. He will help you overcome any obstacle. Jesus will pick you up when you are done like he did for Peter in the ocean. Jesus is the way, the light, and the truth.

There are also people that hated like Herod the great. He didn’t like Jesus, because of what he had heard. Jesus also had many disbelievers that thought he was a fake and didn’t know what he was talking about. Judas was the one who betrayed Jesus. He showed the Roman soldiers who Jesus was. This was right before Peter picked up a sword and cut one of the Roman soldiers ears off. Jesus gave another teaching moment to Peter and said “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.”(Mathew 26:52) Jesus was then arrested and taken away. Jesus predicted that Peter would also deny him three times and it was so. Peter was asked three different times if he followed Jesus and he denied them three times. When Peter realized what he had done, he cried knowing that it was wrong of him to do. Being taken by the soldiers Jesus was beaten and mocked by them. Jesus was sentenced to death and was given a cross to carry uphill. He also wore a crown of thorns on his head. When they got there Jesus was nailed to the cross by his wrist and his feet. People were crying and some were mocking Jesus as he was dying on the cross, Jesus wasn’t alone in death. There were two men along with him on the cross. One man asked for forgiveness and Jesus forgave him. Jesus prayed for everyone that was there and He said “ forgive them for they do not know what they have done.” (Luke 23:34) Jesus died on the cross for six hours. Jesus died to save us from sin and he forgave us of what they had done to him. Jesus was taken down from the cross and put into a tomb where he had a proper burial. There was a tomb stone rolled in front of it that way no one could have entered the tomb where Jesus was laid. He told his believers that he would rise again in the flesh in 3 days at the last supper, so they waited. Many didn’t believe that it would be true, but there were few who had faith. Jesus is a powerful man to many and he is the best leader that anyone could be. There were also two Roman guards posted outside his tomb that he was laid in.

Jesus’s tomb was empty and his stone was rolled away. The only thing laying there was his clothes that he wore. Jesus had been resurrected from the dead. Jesus was alive and Mary was the first person to know that he was alive, because she was the one who visited the tomb. Then Mary told Peter the news about Jesus resurrection, but he didn’t believe it. Peter and John both ran to the tomb to find out about the good news. They saw that the body of Jesus was gone and the clothes were the only thing left there. The confusion set in on the apostles and they didn’t understand what had just taken place. They probably thought wear was the body and how the stone had been rolled away. While the apostles went back to their home in confusion. Mary had stayed there crying and then heard a man talking to her realizing it was Jesus that was talking to her. She was the first person to see the resurrected Jesus. Jesus then talks to his disciples up on a mountain and tells them to preach the word of God to everyone that will hear. After telling them this message Jesus ascends up into Heaven where he sits at the right hand of the father. No one knows when Jesus will be back to judge us from right and wrong, but we must be prepared for this day to come. This day could be tomorrow, so we must be ready for his coming. The bible warns us not to worry about this day, for his return will be glorious.

This was the life of Jesus Christ. He taught us so many things throughout his journey here on earth. He has also given up so much for us not to listen to his calling. Jesus wants us to be beautiful in everything that we do. He wants us to spread the word of God in a way that hasn’t been done before. Everyone should become a believer of him and this world would be beautiful just like he created it to be. So, go out into the world today and spread the word of God to as many people as you can. Go be kind, humble, and try not to do anything wrong even though he will forgive you. It will feel good knowing that his return to this earth would be better and more glorious than ever before.
