Richards 2013) The lack of strength in the muscle groups and the ability to hyperextend the muscles are due to the inadequate positioning of motor units and change in mechanical stresses and hormonal factors. (Carol L. Richards 2013) More than one disorderly risk factors of the muscle joints are the body’s way of performing a defence mechanism which leads to the diagnosis of the disability. Prevalence

Conducted in 2011, the Victorian Cerebral Palsy Register (VCPR) did a study of females and males who were born between 1970 to 2004 in Victoria for the number of children born with CP over that time period. (Reid et al., 2011)The end result concluded with an increase rate between the children born in 1970s and 1980s. (Reid et al., 2011) However, children born in the 1990s to nowadays have decreased or stabilized the rate of being diagnosed with CP even for extremely premature babies. (Reid et al., 2011)

Conclusion.

Cerebral Palsy is detected in the human body due to the disorderly functions of the muscle groups sending signals to the brain, affecting daily activities such as communicative functions. Over the past ten years, treatment plans have become more readily available for patients with CP.
