The past is filled with good and bad memories and the lessons we learned, while the future is to holds our dreams that it will come true or not. The present cannot be successfully lived without a past and the future. Many times, we get caught up in either in the choices of yesterday or in the worries of tomorrows. There are different people that who are living in this world, and everyone has different personalities that everyone doesn’t have. Everyone in this world has unique and different ways. In my case, I grew up with grandma and my uncle who always discriminates me. He judges me by my past life; however, I am more than my past. Now I am older, I am dedicated to making my life be successful.
My life that has influenced me while i’m getting older. The most of the bad and good things i did, while i was growing up have taught me what I want to live out of life. One event was when I was small, my uncle liked drinking beer, but he didn’t know when to stop. Because he did dangerous things that affect my whole family, I don’t even like to drink. It’s a good thing that he stop drinking now because, if he doesn’t , I wouldn’t live with him. He did, however, make that positive influence for me by his negative actions.
When I was 11 years old, I found out that I was pretty good at playing basketball. Because of basketball I’m glad I didn’t turn out like the rest of my neighborhood friends, a bad kid and a lowlife locked up for years. When i feel that my life started getting involved in bad things. Most of my friends were getting is that when I got to high school, I found out that everything you do affects you in the future. I was getting bad grades and I was never able to play sports because of my grades. Now I know I must get good grades to play sports and to graduate to be someone in the future.
The most influential people are my parent, because they would always stop me when I was making bad decisions in my life. One time I was going to stop playing sports just to go hang out with my bad friends and they wouldn’t let me. They always telling me every time, I got in trouble doing stupid things. They would always their for me and care for me and didn’t let me get into bad things. They would always make me come to school, because my parent they always think having an education is the most important thing that the other people don’t get educate and ended liked my neighbor didn’t finish school. My parent they taught me how to live in present not in the past and they showed how to take care of myself. I’m glad to say for myself that I’m satisfied with the person who I am today and the path that I’m taking on that really made me who I am today.
