“The mother art is architecture. Without an architecture of our own, we have no soul of our civilization.” ( Frank Lloyd Wright ) Without any architects from then to now, we would not have any of the fascinating structures we have today. According to the Encyclopedia of Careers and Vocational Guidance, an architect's definition is a person who designs and supervises their construction in many different ways. People dream about being young architects at a young age without not even noticing. For example, most everyone has played with legos at one point of time in their life. When you are playing with legos, you are building a mini construction. Choosing to be an architect requires designing and building certain structures for whomever.
Going to school may seem like a difficult choice to do, but it is not hard. To become an architect you have to have at least four years of architectural classes. Professors generally teach about environmental surroundings, building some type of relationship with your colleagues, and participating in professional conferences. I know nobody wants to sit in class for hours learning and these educating instructions may seem difficult, but this works out in the end.
After your four or more years of going to architectural classes, you have required your bachelor's degree. Maybe you want to start small by building small houses for poor families. You can also build a roof over you and your family heads. Maybe you want to bring amusement to a community, you can build an amusement park or a small playground for the kids. You can build a mall for a huge city so that anyone and everybody can enjoy.
When constructing masterpieces, you have to have the courtesy of the size of the building. The building can be any size that you please. For example, you can have one building as small as a gas station or as big as a college campus. Maybe you want to go as magnificent as a skyscraper. It may take a long time to construct but, if you want it done you will get it done. You can also construct a small place like a store or a restaurant. You can choose how big or how little your building may be.
Next, you have to choose the land features you want to build your construction on. You would not want to start building your foundation on unstable land. You also have to choose a good environment to place the settlement in. why would you choose an environment that is going to damage the construction? Pick a safe and healthy environment to start building.
To end with, designing and building structures for whomever it may concern takes a lot of skill and dedication. This career is useful for you and others in a community. Once you have completed a structure, you will feel good about it and people who see it will like it. My long term goal as architecture is to produce magnificent constructions for famous people and groups that will let my masterpiece be seen across the world.
