My connection with Jesus started when my parents baptized me at a Catholic Church. I can not see Him but I feel his presence when I pray to Him. He is always there for me, even when I sin against Him. Jesus is my leader and he guides me onto the right path to Him. I want to devote my life to Jesus because I want to join Him in heaven. He is my savior and my role model. Jesus Christ is the reason I am here on Earth and succeed in challenging tasks. He is the light when I can’t see, and my shepherd when I am lost. Jesus is the reason I go to church. His home is the place where my mind and soul rest. The outside world these days is so chaotic, but coming to Him makes me let go of my troubles and trust that Jesus has everything under control.
Now as I get older, I realize that Jesus called me to be a child of God, and I am very thankful I can grow my faith in Him. Without Jesus, living a victorious life is simply impossible, so I am thankful He is my guide and teacher. He taught me to love others unconditionally, just like He did. Jesus Christ is my best friend. He will never leave my side, even if I do. He does not hate me for my mistakes, but he shows me the way to fix them. Jesus is a true friend and the only friend I need. He is my past, present, and future. As long as He is in my life, I know my life will be lively and long. My relationship with Jesus is the most important one in my life. If I ruin it, I know my life will start to crumble. Whenever I call for Him, He is always ready to answer. He has called me to be a child of God, so I must fulfill His request.
Jesus Christ is important to me and my whole family. I want to deepen my bond with Him because following him leads to the reward I am working for throughout my life. Without Him, there is no purpose in my life. He created and saved me from falling into mortal sin. “I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.” I love Him with all my heart, and I am so thankful He is always there when I need him.
Personally, Jesus is many things to me. I’ve never met Him, but I am working to meet Him in heaven. There are many words to describe Jesus Christ, but to me, He is my EVERYTHING.
