Summary

Dr. Spencer Johnson's book 'Who Moved My Cheese' is frequently suggested to help people and businesses accept and embrace change. Cheese has been defined by the author as any relationship, love, career, money, happiness, reputation, achievements, or anything else that a person desires in life. Maze, on the other hand, is the world in which we humans live.

Sniff, Scurry, Hem, and Haw are the main characters of this book. Sniff and Scurry acted as mice, while Hem and Haw acted as humans, but they are as small as mice. The four of them were trapped in a maze and had to constantly look for cheese to survive.

Their duty was to get up early and go out to find the cheese in the maze. One fine day they find a lot of cheese. The human takes those cheese for granted and didn’t noticed their surrounding while mice noticed that day by day the amount of cheese was decreasing. There were ready for the change. One day the cheese runs out. The mice were ready for the change so they moved on for the search of cheese while little humans started complaining that someone stole their cheese and they waited in hope that the cheese would come back.

Things I liked about the book

The most important thing that I liked about this book is that it let us prepare and encourage us to decide every possible thing that might occur and allow us to be mentally prepared for any type of unexpected change that we might face.

Conclusion

Nowadays, the world is developing rapidly. The rate of survival depends on how a person is able to adapt to the changes and don’t take things for granted. It is important that we look for new ways and ideas to achieve what is necessary for survival. Shapes and ideas like cheese can become obsolete and stocks dry up. That is why we need to plan ahead, investigate and never give up hope.
