Greetings again from your fellow associate Leah Walther! Today am here to solely share with you on how to give back to the one absolutely friend that man can ever have in this selfish world, the dog! When all other “dear” friends desert, he remains. When reputation falls to pieces and the riches take wings, he is as constant in love as the moon in its journey through the dark clouds. If fortune makes the master an outcast in the world, homeless and friendless, the faithful dog asks for no higher privilege than that of guarding him against any danger, accompanying him, and at most fighting against its enemies. And when the inevitable scene of all comes, and death snatches its master, the noble dog remains by the cold graveside with his head between his paws but with the eyes open in alert watchfulness, true and faithful even in death.
With all this faithfulness and royalty, I can’t stop myself from treating my dog in the best way possible when I have the chance and energy to do so. Apart from feeding Jake, my dog with some treats, getting him some regular toys, and keeping him warm especially during the winter, I dedicate my time to ensure that I take him for regular walks along the streets outskirts, at least once in a day. I decided to be taking Jake for a regular walk upon the realization that dogs love to check out new sites and smell apart from fancying the idea of spending time with their master. Besides, it’s needless to say that a dog that doesn’t receive sufficient exercise tend to easily become destructive and bored.
I would like to quickly share some of the tips for having the best ever walk with a dog as am ascertain that most of you have a dog at home or you are planning to acquire one in future. To have a good walk with your dog, you need to first make sure that you select the best leash. I would suggest a soft leash as this one. You should at all cost consider acquiring a leash that is too long as it may fail to provide the desired control. For me, this standard 6-foot leash works perfectly particularly on the streets where one is expected to fully control the dog amidst the numerous number of by-passers and high traffic.
Another essential that comes in handy when taking a dog for a walk is the collar. While it seems that there isn’t much to consider when selecting a collar for your dog, I perceive leather collars with a buckle like this one as the safest kind of collars. While the collars that have a snap tend to more appealing, they are extremely hard to adjust and keep the dog secure. Try to think of all possible cases, if your dog sees another scary dog or anything else from a distance and take off, will the collar hold? Apart from that, I tend to prefer collars that have ID tags where one can note down his contacts as an extra safety strategy as one never knows what can happen during the walk. Lastly, you should also consider bring some ribbons and toys such as this tennis ball along when having a walk with the dog. Dogs are known to be big lovers of toys, an aspect that grants you the chance to walk with the dog without pulling the leash as the simple act of having the tennis ball or the toy increases the dog's interest in a walk.
Ladies and gentlemen, I come to the conclusion of my speech and I hope that this oration was not just a waste of your precious time. I hope presentation enables you realized how much the dogs mean to us apart from helping you make your next walk the best walk yet!
Thank you for time and attention!
