Carrie Marie Underwood known as Carrie Underwood, the crooner of hit songs and albums 'Jesus Take The Wheel' 'Some Hearts' and 'Cry Pretty' is a native of Checotah, Oklahoma and she grew up in a farm setting. She sang in her Church choir as a kid and took part in the Robbins Memorial Talent Show, auditioned in Capitol music in her teens, and in 2004 auditioned for American Idol's fourth season, she was chosen and then got awarded the highly contested Record contract with 19 Recordings/Arista Records and other rewards like a convertible Mustang Ford and one-year free jet usage for all her trips. She, however, was off the public for a while, due to an unfortunate accident in November 2017, where she fell while taking her dog out. The accident left her with a broken wrist and nearly 50 stitches on her face but thankfully she seems to have recovered well enough to plan for her tour 'Cry Pretty' 360.
