The gun control debate whether with it or against it, has been raging on for these past couple of years and people just seem to be split about this entire debate. There is no in the middle you're either for guns or against them. So pro-gun or gun control? Which is better? Which helps solve the violence problem and helps protect the people more? Today I'm here to put this critical matter to rest once and for all.
Get comfortable in your seats as we explore exactly why being pro-gun is the better side and how it will protect people a lot more.
To start, let's talk about the #1 reason on why having guns is better than taking them away- to put it straight and simple, it is for being able to defend yourself when in danger. Well when are we in danger, and when do we need to defend ourselves? When you have a bad guy breaking into your house pointing, and let me note, an illegal gun, at you and your loved ones. And let's say gun control got implemented, what would be your weapon of choice if you could choose? Doesn't matter, nothing can defend you against a gun but a gun. Or what about when a bad guy is shooting up a store you're in? What would you do then? Throw at him a bag of candy? Well unfortunately that wouldn't work, however, if you had a gun then at least you'd have a fighting chance to save yourself and those around you. It's not rocket science, guns are countered with guns. Take Bryan for example, a licensed gun owner who shot a robber at his gas station in North Harris County. He was later interviewed and said he was thankful for the opportunity to own a gun and have the right to defend himself, and if he hadn't had a gun, then he probably wouldn't be here right now.
I know what you're thinking, 'Yeah, but the gas station owner could've just followed the robber's orders and he would've survived' To that I'd say...why? Why would you want to let a thief get away after he has just robbed you and you just sit there? When you have the option of defending yourself. What given the choice- would you want to put yourself in a situation where you're helpless and more in danger when you could easily protect yourself with a gun? If a thief has the nerve to steal you think he doesn't have the nerve to kill? That being said, guns are a must to protect the good and repel the evil.
In conclusion, and to end this debate, guns were created as self-defense in the beginning then evil sides began to use these beautiful weapons against the good people, so how are you going to take the good people's guns away and let the bad people roam free with them? Therefore we should all work to repel these baseless 'gun control' laws.
