Marvel comics and DC comics are two very prominent comic book publishers in the publishing industry. They are both famous for their extensive and very interconnected universes and along with this, they’re famous for the creation of the concept of a superhero. In both of these publishing companies, there is a subsection for movies and TV shows. The one that marvel has is called the Marvel cinematic universe. The one the DC has is called the DC extended universe. These two cinematic companies produce a variety of films and TV shows dealing with centered around superheroes in their respective company.

Many of the characters, specifically the most prominent and popular characters, have two identities. These two identities can be separated by the roles that the individual has to do when they are in a certain identity. The first identity is the human and daily life person and the second one is the superhero persona of the character. While they are intertwined the comic book companies try and separate them so that they are the characters more appealing to the masses.

DC and Marvel are different in the way that they create a relationship between the characters and their superhero persona. DC tends to develop the superhero persona by integrating small portions of the character's lives into the storyline of the superhero story for example including memories or dialogue dealing with the superhero's past or something of that sort. This is exemplified in the movies that the DC extended universe produces. Marvel on the other hand tends to create a deeper connection between the character and their superhero persona by having the character's having the characters dialogue be what it would have been if the character wasn’t in their superhero persona and along with this majority of the storyline for The character is them trying to understand who they are as a superhero and how that fits in with their normal life. In this idea is very clearly exemplified in the films that the Marvel cinematic universe produces. One of the clearest differences between the two comic book companies is that in the DC universe, the character tries to hide their actual identity while being in their superhero persona. Whereas in the Marvel universe, The majority of the characters don’t hide who they are in real life, rather than embrace it as a part of their superhero persona, it’s not like they are to people more so that they are the same person that has multiple abilities.

The most popular single superhero trilogy’s for DC is the Dark Knight trilogy, which is about The superhero Batman, who is Bruce Wayne. For marvel, it is their first superhero character film, Iron Man, which is Tony Stark. These two superhero superheroes serve as a great example for their respective comic book publishing company as they are not only very popular but also deemed some of the best movies produced by their respective comic book publishing companies. The Batman movies are the most profitable trilogy in the DC extended universe. The Iron Man trilogy is the most successful and profitable single superhero movie in the Marvel cinematic universe. Along with this these two superheroes are leading figures in their respective publishing companies' universes teams such as the justice league for DC and the avengers for marvel.

The character Tony Starks superhero persona is Iron Man. Tony Stark is an industrious genius inventor and a former playboy who is the CEO of Stark industries, which is a major weapons producer in the Marvel cinematic universe.

The character Bruce Wayne’s superhero persona is Batman. Wayne is a wealthy American playboy, philanthropist, and the owner of Wynne Enterprises which happens to be a very prominent company in the DC extended universe.

Along with these two superheroes movies being profitable, the characters are also very similar to one another, which makes these two characters easier to compare as they tend to have the same resources, personality, and place in their respective universes, meaning that the characters and the superheroes have a similar standing in their respective universes making it easier to compare. Tony Stark is a billionaire and a genius but unlike Bruce Wayne, he’s a lot more charismatic and likable as a character he is also very sarcastic, unlike Bruce Lee. He does not take things very seriously but when he commits to something he gives it his full attention. Bruce Wayne is a billionaire playboy who does not like to live by the rules, he can be a bit arrogant and reckless at times but is usually quite straightforward and serious, similar to Tony Stark. The main thing that he shares with Tony Stark is that he has no superhero powers and is also very rich. Iron Man and Batman share similarities such as their life thousand qualities such as courage, but the main difference are that one is a troubled man and the other one is an easy-going sarcastic man.

The relationship between the character in the superhero persona is very important when it comes to creating A potline or a story because the majority of the people that either view or read the media that these companies produce tend to do so because of the character development which happens through the storyline. There’s a clear separation between the character's regular life as a superhero because of many factors. These factors include the situation that the person is in, the dialogue, the tone of the scene, and most obviously the attire of the character. The attire is the most obvious because when the character is in their superhero persona they wear their superhero costume/gear/gear. And while they are in their regular everyday life form The character, in this scenario, wears expensive clothing such as suits and other such garments. Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark tend to wear the same everyday life attire because of their roles of being the CEOs/owners of their respective companies. The majority of the time we see Bruce Wayne on screen, rather than Batman, he is in his Batcave working on something dealing with his gadgets for his superhero persona and so he tends to be in more relaxed clothing however the viewer/audience can still tell that the garments that he wears are expensive. In addition to Tony Stark in Batman having similar clothing, they also have personal assistants that appear whenever they are in their everyday position. Iron Man/Tony Stark his assistant is a young female named pepper Potts, who seems to know every single aspect of his life and tries to make it easier. For Batman/Bruce Wayne his assistant is his butler Alfred he’s had since he was a child, Alfred knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman and not only helps him with anything that Bruce asks but he also advises Bruce on what to do when he is Batman. This is how Iron Man and Batman differ because, in the majority of the trilogy Iron Man trilogy, pepper Potts does not know of Tony Starks superhero persona. She mainly helps with his company and personal life. Pepper Potts does later realize that Tony Stark is impacted by Iron Man and it’s a whole character development change that occurs between pepper and Tony, this relationship between these two develops in one of the movies in the trilogy, so later on she begins to develop more of a connection between with Tony and Iron Man. And so the difference in this scenario is that the relationship between Alfred and Bruce tends to be the same throughout the whole series, whereas in Tony and pepper, their relationship develops throughout the movies and ends with them becoming so close that they marry each other and so we see more character development with Tony being able to open up about who he is to not only her but to the rest of the world whereas Bruce still keeps his identity a secret does separating who he is as Bruce Wayne and who he is as Batman.

The main difference between the two publishing companies, Marvel and DC, is The relationship that the publishing companies create between the character and your superhero identity. DC and Marvel have significantly different ways that they go about developing DC-10s to develop a character's persona through simply bearing a superhero identity. Marvel, on the other hand, tends to integrate the personalities and overall personas of both the character and their superhero identity, so that the character development scene no matter where it occurs happens for both the character and their superhero persona.

Tony Stark is that when he went to give it a ministration of the weapons that he created, his vehicle of transportation was bombed and he was taken captive. When he was kidnapped he suffers a very severe chest injury and so A world-renowned physicist who also happens to be held captive with him saved his life by using machinery to fix his injury. A little while after this his captors try and force him into building a weapon of mass destruction and instead, with the help of the physicist, he creates a mechanized suit of armor in order to save his life and escape. Then throughout the first movie, he continues fixing his suit adding weapons and other technological does devices. He then uses the suit that he created in order to protect the world from people like his captors, such as Iron Man. Tony does in fact try and conceal his identity but later on, he reveals Who he is making a public announcement while doing so.

Because in the end, Tony does reveal that he is in fact Iron Man, The audience/viewer sees no difference between the way Iron Man acts and the way Tony Stark acts. The majority of the time the dialogue that Tony delivers or Iron Man delivers is the same. Also because Tony does reveal his identity throughout battle scenes and scenes where he is wearing yeah me and said he removes his mask while talking to other characters and then put it back on instantaneously. And so because this happens so often the viewer doesn’t see a real difference between the way that Tony Stark acts and the way Iron Man acts. Another significant change that the audience member sees is that throughout the trilogy people referred to Iron Man as Tony Stark rather than by his superhero name. This shows that the people in the movie also don’t see a difference between who Tony is and who Iron Man is, to them together they are the same person. In general, the personalities of Iron Man and Tony Stark are similar because whenever Tony is in his superhero persona he doesn’t talk as if he was another person rather he talks as himself and expresses himself as if though he were Tony. The only thing that is seen as a little different is that Tony Stark seems to be more self-centered caring about things that immediately matter to him and his livelihood, whereas Iron Man thinks more about the greater good. But the more that Tony is exposed to being Iron Man the more he starts to Think about the well-being of others and what he can do to aid them if need be. So there is a very big character development with Tony Stark and his mentality throughout not only the Iron Man trilogy but the entire Marvel cinematic universe. What are the most significant things about Tony’s character development is that in the end he truly does give it all up for the greater good because he experienced so much pain for doing what he wanted because he believed he already had a perfect life and he didn’t want to risk that but he knew that he was the only one that could change the fate of millions of people and so he sacrificed himself for the greater good. And so in the end we see that Tony Stark and Iron Man truly do become one person because whenever there are memorials and other such things in Spiderman far from the home film they had murals dedicated to Tony and in them there were tony as both the regular person and as Iron Man. One of the most significant roles out of all of the neural scenes in that film was the one where there was Iron Man’s helmet painted and then if you looked a little bit closer you could see Tony’s face. So this shows that to the whole world, in the Marvel cinematic universe, there was no difference between Tony and Iron Man what Tony did was not just what he did as Iron Man but rather what he did as Tony Stark who is Iron Man because they are one and the same.

Bruce Wayne's secret identity as Batman originated because of an incident that occurred during Bruce’s childhood. After a play, he watched with his parents when he was walking home his parents were murdered in front of it in front of him. And from that moment he’s for vengeance against all criminals in Gotham, where he lives, area. From then on Bruce trains himself physically and intellectually in order to be fit to be Batman. Because he does all of that training he is able to create a suit that aids him when he is fighting for justice, and he does so with a bat-inspired suit.
