Worship and the Biblical Worldview
It is important to view a biblical worldview as affecting my desires. What I want might not what
God wants for me. If he has a different plan and path for me, I need to follow it. Doing otherwise
would be disobedient and stubborn. The plan God organizes for us will lead us to our ultimate
purpose here on Earth. The Bible is a guide. A guide to give us the courage to be brave and stand
by Him. Without faith and love, your desires may be unreachable. Our desires are not and should
not only be physical, but they should also be spiritual as well.
I have experienced a conflict between what I know and what I desire. My desire to stay in the
military was abruptly stopped in 2016. While in training, I broke my left leg and my left hip in
three places. I was devastated. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life after not being able
to continue my journey in the military. While healing, I would continue to go to church on
Sundays. I prayed. I did not know what else to do, so I continued to pray. I waited patiently for
God to answer my prayers. When he finally did, I stopped in my tracks and started to follow that
plan that he had for me.
I would much prefer to have at least one person with me to help me carry out my plan. When in
doubt, pray it out. God will be there for you unconditionally. If you feel like you need some extra
help, you can find someone like minded as you.
