Community-Based School Fundraising Budget In the context of the school fundraising budget, the government has issued education policies, one of which is related to the education budget, the government has increased the education budget to 20% of the total national budget. In addition to being used to improve the quality of national education, the budget is also used to increase the number of community school participation. The government, in order to make the quality and access equality program a success, provides School Operational Assistance (BOS) to schools/madrasahs. However, this government assistance cannot meet all school operational needs. The limited national education budget, even though it has been increased to 20% of the total national budget and the large number of schools/madrasahs in the country, shows that the government has not been able to fully overcome the national education problem, especially related to the budget. In this context, the government hopes for community participation, especially private schools/madrasahs to proactively educate the nation. In this context, the party that faces the most funding challenges is private schools/madrasahs. Compared to state schools, private schools/madrasahs are required to be more creative and innovative in raising funds to meet the needs of quality education. Based on this, fundraising organizations are non-profit organizations that work to make the world a better place. Meanwhile, Wirjana said that a social organization is an organization or institution that carries out social services and social development, formed by a group of people based on social values that live in society, and supported by altruism in human life, namely the intention to go beyond one's own interests to then care and be loyal to the interests of others, especially people who need help. Given the nature of the organization which is not profit-oriented, the organization is required to be able to mobilize the sources of funds needed to finance the organization so that it can operate (survive), can expand and develop, reduce dependency, and so that the organization can run effectively. This means that fundraising is an integral part of an organization's financial program and strategy. Fundraising strategies include mobilizing funds in the form of financial and non-financial mobilization to support the implementation of the institution's programs. Non-financial support can be in the form of goods or equipment, building property, land, and so on), certain expertise or certain services, manpower, exposure in the mass media, access to important institutions/people who can support the program. Related to this strategy, there are seven fundraising strategies that can be used as a reference for social humanitarian organizations, namely: Think tank strategy, annual fund, major gifts, planned giving, corporations, foundations, government funds, and exploring their own sources of funds.
