To explore the clinical effects of different drugs in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy Diabetes is a metabolic disease caused by insufficient insulin secretion, secretion defects or insulin dysfunction in patients, mainly manifested by hyperglycemia, but persistent hyperglycemia and long-term dysfunction can cause systemic tissue and organ lesions and nervous system damage, and even cause organ failure, seriously affecting the quality of life of patients [12]. At present, the clinical treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy is mainly drug therapy. Commonly used drugs include sulfonylureas, biguanides, ?-glucosidase inhibitors, etc., but different drugs have different therapeutic effects. From January 2016 to January 2017, this hospital used different drugs for treatment and achieved good results. The results are reported as follows. 1 Materials and methods 1.1 General data A total of 118 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy in our hospital were conveniently selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 59 cases in each group. Among them, there were 21 males and 38 females in the control group, aged 47-75 years old, with an average age of 61 years old; there were 22 males and 37 females in the observation group, aged 45-73 years old, with an average age of 59 years old. There was no statistically significant difference in gender, age, blood sugar, course of disease and other data between the two groups (P>0.05), and they were comparable. 1.2 Diagnostic criteria ? Fasting blood sugar>6.1 mmoL/L, 2 h postprandial blood sugar>7.8 mmoL/L; ? Patients had symptoms such as numbness, pain, and abdominal distension in the hands and feet during diagnosis; ? Abnormal temperature sensation, decreased or absent foot sensation, abnormal vibration sensation, absent ankle reflex, and certain obstacles in nerve conduction, with 2 or more items. 1.3 Treatment Methods Observation group: treated with normal saline plus 300 g zinc sulfate (National Medicine Standard No. H11021286), intravenous drip, once a day, 1 month as a course of treatment; control group: treated with normal saline and methylcobalamin (1.5 g, National Medicine Standard No. H20052207x), intravenous drip, once a day, 1 month as a course of treatment. After the completion of treatment, the therapeutic effects of the two groups of patients were compared. 1.4 Evaluation Criteria The treatment results were divided into marked effect, improvement and ineffective according to the clinical condition of the patients. Marked effect: The patient's clinical symptoms, including abdominal distension, pain, numbness, etc., were greatly improved, and the nerve conduction velocity increased; Improvement: The patient's clinical symptoms, including abdominal distension, pain, numbness, etc., were all improved; Ineffective: The patient's symptoms did not improve, or even worsened. Total effective rate = marked effect + improvement. 1.5 Statistical methods SPSS 17.0 statistical software was used to process the data. The quantitative data were expressed as (), and the t test was used. The counting data [n (%)] were tested by ?2 test. P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. 2 Results 2.1 Treatment results The total effective rate of the control group was 57.62%, and the total effective rate of the observation group was 94.75%. The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). 2.2 Physiological function test results After different drug treatments, the physiological function of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). 3 Discussion The main symptoms of diabetic patients are polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia and weight loss. Most long-term diabetic patients will have chronic complications, mainly diabetic retinopathy, diabetic nephropathy and diabetic neuropathy. Diabetic peripheral neuropathy refers to symptoms related to peripheral nerve dysfunction in diabetic patients due to metabolic disorders, cytokine abnormalities, vascular damage and other causes, such as numbness of the limbs, constipation, abdominal distension, pain, etc. Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is one of the common complications of diabetic patients. Patients experience varying degrees of neurological reactions, which brings great pain and inconvenience to patients. At present, the clinical treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy is mainly drug therapy. Commonly used drugs include sulfonylureas (gliclazide, glipizide), biguanides (metformin), ?-glucosidase inhibitors (acarbose), etc., but the treatment does not achieve the desired effect. Zinc sulfate tablets are commonly used for anemia, anorexia, nutritional dwarfism, growth retardation and enteropathic acrodermatitis caused by zinc deficiency. They can also be used as an auxiliary treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, intermittent claudication, pica, hepatolenticular degeneration, chronic ulcers, acne, conjunctivitis, aphthous ulcers, etc. This article selected zinc sulfate to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy and observed its therapeutic effect. This article used different drugs to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The control group was treated with normal saline combined with methylcobalamin, and the observation group was treated with zinc sulfate. The treatment conditions and physiological functions of the two groups of patients were observed. Results The total effective rate of the control group was 57.62%, and the total effective rate of the observation group was 94.75%. At the same time, the physiological functions of the patients in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group. This is consistent with the results of Xie Hongwu [3], in which the total effective rate of the control group was 64.4%, and the total effective rate of the treatment group was 95.56%, and the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group. Therefore, the use of zinc sulfate to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy has clear effects, few adverse reactions, and simple operation. It not only relieves patients' physical suffering, but also relieves patients' mental pain, reduces the burden on patients' families, eases the doctor-patient relationship, increases patients' self-confidence in fighting the disease, improves patients' quality of life, reduces the occurrence of complications, and improves patients' negative psychology. It has clinical application value.
