BLUE-THE BOARD GAME “Blue, the game based on clue” This game was created to see what happens when different binomials or trinomials are combined. The B in the game Blue is to represent binomials, and the color blue. The objective of the game is to figure out who spilt the paint. There are 8 characters, (x − y), (x+y), (x2 − 2xy + y2),(x2 + 2xy + y2),(y + x), (y -x), (ax + b), and (cy + d), but when there are two in a room, they exchange dna(you add the two together) to get a solution. There are 11 different locations, allowing for 11 different solutions. The point of the game is to be able to identify the monomials, binomials, trinomials and polynomials and add them together to get a variety of solutions. The correct solution is shown in the blue paint that is spilt. The target is to get the solution by adding the different equations together, trial and error. You must: Label and display your new polynomial identityequations, arrows, characters, and locations Prove that it is true through an algebraic proof, identifying each step-you can see how i Square one factor from column A and add it to one factor from column B to develop your own identity. Demonstrate that your polynomial identity works on numerical relationships-you must find 1 out of 11 equations, that is how you identify who spilt the paint EQs: How can polynomial identities be proven?They can be proven by simplifying and breaking down equations into smaller parts and solving them step by step. What can polynomial identities apply to beyond just polynomials? Replacing variables with numbers.
