INTRODUCТION = Should children Ье аЫе to make their own decision about what to wear to school? Many schools require students to wear а school uniform. However, there are just as many schools where students can wear whatever clothing they want. THESIS STATEMENT - ln my opinion, students need to wear uniforms. TOPIC SENТENCE= Students won't waste their time in the mornin choosin what clothes to wear. Most teenagers really саге about their appearance. Therefore, they spend at least 20 minutes in the morning deciding what they should wear to school. For example, my son refuses to wear the same thing two days in а row to school. As а result, he is always looking in his closet for something different to wear. This takes а lot of time. lf you wear а school uniform, you will Ье wearing the same thing every day. Students won't have to worry and spend needless time choosing clothes. TOPIC SENТENCE=Wearing а school uniform puts students in the mood to study. А shirt and tie or а skirt and white Ыouse gives а sense of formality to the classroom. When students wear inappropriate clothing such as hot pants, short skirts, oversized jeans or skimpy shirts, а class- can get distracted and not рау attention. Often, it looks like students are going to the beach and not to а math class. TOPIC SENТENCE= School uniforms create а sense of equality. Everyone looks the same. When students choose their own clothes, oftentimes, students who are rich try to show off Ьу wearing clothes that are more expensive and better brands. For example, а teenager may bully another student who does not have as much money Ьу making fun of his or her clothing. This can make the student afraid to go to school because she or he does not have nice things to wear. COUNТERARGUMENТ=Many people think that school uniforms hurt а student's individuality. lt's true that students express their unique personalities with their clothes. However, school is а place to learn, and not а fashion show. Students can wear what they want on the weekends or after school. CONCLUSION= Saving time, creating an academic atrriosphere, and making all students equal are important reasons to have school uniforms. lt's а lot easier for the school and the student to have uniforms. lt's also а better way for children to grow up. s
