Pre-Writing Process The Pomegranate Seeds Character Name: Ceres Physical Appearance: Mother Ceres is a stunning lady. Her inherent beauty is enhanced by the ghostly appearance of her bright blue eyes, beautiful blonde hair, and pale complexion. Feelings: Mom Ceres worries that her girl could be acting very naively. Since mom has a strong impulse to guard her, she urges her to never stroll off. Attitude: Mom Ceres is extremely attentive and watchful. She doesn't like to take chances & prefers not to push the limitations until necessary. Conflict Character: Characters vs her vs King Pluto, is the core of Ceres' battle. Conflict Experienced: Mom Ceres has a really challenging situation. Proserpina wanders off despite her mother's warnings to not go very far. King Pluto suddenly kidnaps her. How Does the Character Respond: Ceres remains clueless of her child's whereabouts. Where: The fields where "The Pomegranate Seeds" was set will become the setting for this novel. To explain why Ceres seems to be such a cautious mother, I'm writing a prequel. Ceres is a joyful woman within my prequel, just like Proserpina is throughout the present novel. Like the breeze which rustles across the wheat, she is uncontrollable & wild. She is stress-free and free of obligations. She really is a foolish little girl. When Exposition: I would first present young Ceres, and her careless attitude, plus the events that led to her becoming the careful lady she is now. Rising Action: Proserpina would then request to engage with the ocean nymphs. Ceres now recognizes Proserpina had been missing for a lengthy amount of time. Proserpina cries out, then Ceres hears her & starts looking for her. Climax: At this point, Ceres makes the decision to delay caring for the World till her girl is returned to her. Falling Action: At that point, Ceres has let all the land to completely disappear, and her magical light fades out where it shouldn't have. Resolution: Proserpina gets taken back home and at this point, they learn that she could not remain there forever. Ceres begins to appreciate the moment she can spend with her daughter. Voice Point of View: 3d person so that the reader can see everything unfolding all at once. Tone: Lonely, grateful, and admiring. I'll demonstrate Ceres' attitude shift as the tale progresses. How: Upon reading this tale, I hope the readers will be grateful. By enjoying the times, they spend alongside their family members, I encourage people to feel grateful & humbled. Pace: To generate a certain feeling within the readers, I'll write using a formal tone using both short and long phrases. I'll achieve that by writing my tale with clarity and appropriate language.
