Descriptive Analytics Descriptive analytics is a statistical interpretation used to analyze historical data to identify patterns and relationships. Descriptive analytics seeks to describe an event, phenomenon, or outcome. It helps understand what has happened in the past and provides businesses the perfect base to track trends. Several things can help on descriptive analytics: 1) Metrics (Max, Min, count, avg, sum, mode, median, std deviation, unique values) 2) Searching 3) Filtering 4) Interpreting Result Metrics This how you can your metrics in sql or querying while look on your data. Searching (Searching) Data aggregation and mining are two methods used in descriptive analysis to generate historical data. In data aggregation, information is initially gathered and then sorted to simplify large datasets. Data mining is the next analytical stage, which entails searching the data for patterns and significance.
