Image of Salvation The gospel of salvation is more than just being saved; it is made up of many biblical images, such as adoption, conversion, regeneration, redemption, reconciliation, justification, election, sanctification, or glorification. These images put together create the whole image of what salvation is, from being reborn through regeneration to being pardoned from our sins through justification. Many times, people do not realize that there is so much more to salvation, salvation is a beautiful gift, and as mentioned has many amazing qualities to it. One of the best qualities of salvation, is redemption. Redemption is what allows us to have a relationship with God, despite sinning in the garden. I want to focus on redemption, for it is through redemption that are sins have been paid for and we have been saved. Redemption has been described as, “The idea expressed with the word redemption is "to buy back" or "to purchase.” [ CITATION Etz15 \l 1033 ]. This is effectively saying that redemption is the currency that Jesus used to allow us to have a relationship with Him in heaven. Jesus paid the ultimate price, so that we might be able to have a relationship with Him. “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” (Eph 1:7). Jesus was the one who gave us the chance to have a relationship with God, by becoming redemption for us. The reason Jesus did this, was to give humanity the chance to have a relationship with Him. By sinning in the garden, humanity cut off the relationship that we had with God. That closeness that we once shared with Him in the garden. By taking on the sins of humanity, He created a pathway for humanity to have a close relationship once more with God. Jesus paid the ultimate price for the mistakes of humanity, becoming our redemption. The relationship between redemption and sin is not to hard to find. Because of our sins God had to provide a path for Him to have a relationship with us again, Jesus was the only way to provide that way, as a perfect sacrifice was required. Sin has covered the world with disaster and disease sense Adam sinned in the garden of Eden, through Christ paying for our sins, redemption is the price he paid, sin will be removed from our lives and the world when he reigns after His return. Without Jesus paying for our sins, we would never have the chance to have a relationship with Him ever again. It is through His redemption that we have a chance to commune with, and someday be with the Lord. If it were not for the sins of man, redemption of man would not be necessary. Man made the choice in the garden to sin, and instead of us paying the ultimate price, Jesus took that upon Himself. He redeemed us, basically bought us back, even after what we did to Him. Redemption is the only way, to have your sins forgiven, and to have a chance to have a relationship with God. The price of redemption was expensive, Jesus, the only perfect human being on earth, had to give His life to pay for our sins. He willingly gave his life so that he could be reunited with us. The redemption for our sins that Christ has provided is a gift, all we need to do is accept that gift from Him. Jesus died, becoming the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. All you need to do is accept His gift, His offering. Jesus became our redemption, buying us back so that we might be saved from our sins. Our own choices got us in the mess we are in, but the gracious, loving God that we have gave us another way out. By accepting that Jesus died to save us, humanity can have redemption. Humanity face consequences for what we did, however, thanks to the sacrifice Jesus made, we can have a relationship with God again. Redemption is a key component of salvation, as without redemption, there would be no salvation. To apply this to our lives, we must accept when He did for us, and accept that He became redemption. His redemption saved us from ourselves, He bought us back from hell, He loved us that much. Redemption means salvation and is something Jesus did for us. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice to redeem us of our sins, He paid the price so that we could still have a relationship with God, and one day go to be with Him in heaven. Our sins are what put Jesus on the cross, and he willingly went to pay the price of the perfect sacrifice required to cover the cost. He became the redemption that humanity needed, so that we could have a relationship with God. He took our sins away from us, so that we could become close with God once more. Redemption means buying back basically, Jesus bought us back from hell, saving us from ourselves and our sin.
