Muhammad
Is defined as an Arab prophet. He was the
founder of Islam which is known to be a very
prominent religion. He was born in Mecca in
Saudi Arabia. Muhammad is known for being
a very spiritual man who would spend a lot of
time in meditation in Mount Hira. There is
also a traditional story which says that one
night he was meditating when he got a visit
from an angel by the name of Jibreel who
gave him the order to recite. Muhammad is
very important to history because it is said
that he was the chosen one as well as a
messenger of God by divine revelations. He
left his mark and was a leading example
which made a lot of Muslims want to follow
his example and his sayings and descriptions
of the way he life or the way of life are the
Umayyad dynasty
most important in Muslim text.
Was one of the largest Empires ever created.
It was established in 661 in Damascus.

was able to facilitate trade and formed unity.
Is known as the birthplace of prophet
Muhammad and the ritual center of the Islamic religion. Mecca is considered the
spiritual center because in the 7th century that
is where Muhammed first received his
revelations. In Meccas, their God is known as
Hubal God. Hubal means God of divination,
the rain and war. It is important to history
because that is where Muhammad, the
founder of Islam born and it is also said to be
the holiest of Muslim cities.
