Advance directive - legal documents allow people to decide what kind of medical care they wish to have. *Living will - medical care person wants or does not want in case they become unable to make decisions. Durable power of attorney for health care - signed date and witnessed legal document that appointed someone else make medical decisions do -not-resuscitate (DNR) - tell medical professionals to not perform CPR. Cheyne- stroke - slow, irregular breathing. *Postmortem care - care of the body after death. ● ● Place pads where needed Don't remove any tubes or other equipment attached to the body. Palliative care - focus on recovery or care for themselves.
