Review the article “Six Dimensions of Wellness.” Then answer each question with a minimum of 3 to 5 sentences. Support your answers with credible sources when appropriate. Complete this template by replacing the bracketed text with the relevant information.  Choose one of the wellness dimensions and explain whether you feel it is guided more by nature or nurture. Explain your response. I choose to explain about the spiritual wellness dimension. Although spiritual could be both be nature and nurture, but I believe that it is guided more by nurture than nature. While finding your spiritual path, you will come across people that help or test you in many ways. This also means that you will be influenced by the people in your environment.  Explain how one dimension of wellness influences cognitive well-being during a specific stage of development. The spiritual dimension of wellness influences cognitive well-being by the morals and values that are developed during this dimension. This is also reflecting on how your personality will change along with how you treat others.  Identify the wellness dimension that you feel most in control of. Explain your response. I feel that I have more control of my spiritual dimension, I can control how I value myself and the boundaries that I set for myself and others. This is also something that I can make sure what kind of environment in or who I choose who I want to be part of this type of journey.  Identify the wellness dimension that you feel least in control of. Explain your response. I feel that I do not have the most control over my emotional. I say this because of how many people can affect your emotional state of mind and cause so many problems in your own lives. You might be able to control your emotion to a point but being angry, sad, heartbroken, or anything else can change at any given point and a lot of people might be watching or might have inputs.  Choose one dimension that you believe to be predominant in development. Explain your response. I feel like this one is hard to just pick one, but if I have to the one that I would choose is intellectual. This allows someone to grow in many ways. We could deal without social if we had to or the physical part and the others as well, but intellectual expands on one’s knowledge and skills to find what they are interested in.  Explain how emotional intelligence and resilience factors affect your well-being. o Consider how you can apply the dimensions of wellness to support your own well-being in your response. Emotional intelligence and resilience can affect many different parts of our wellbeing, for example our occupational dimension. We are able to have self-control over many things and our occupation be one of them. Inside of our occupation we are able to work the hours we want and being resilience will be part of that depending on if the boss wants you to flexible about the hours you work.
