Planning Reclamation planning has been prepared prior to mining operations and is an integrated program carried out by PT Aneka Tambang. The company has identified and investarized the disturbed land for development and supporting activities. Broadly speaking, there are five main parts, namely the plant site area, the Nunggul Quarry area, the Tailling Dam area, the waterfall area and finally the Kubang Kicau National Park area. b. Landscaping Landscaping is done to facilitate revegetation activities, reduce erosion, increase the success of understanding and increase the success of the growth of ground cover plants. c. Revegetation The implementation of revegetation of PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk. UBPE Pongkor often experiences difficulties in the development of plant growth due to the physical and chemical properties of the soil. Basic soil analysis data such as organic matter content, CEC, total nitrogen and others are not owned, so it becomes an obstacle for proper soil treatment. To support the ongoing activities, a program was made in the form of composting house facilities, nurseries and nurseries as well as the construction of a Research and Education Center for Trees and Native Plants (P4TA). 1) Composting: Composting is done by utilizing sawdust, organic waste in the form of leaves and grass around the company area. After mixing well, the material is put into a barrel and covered using plastic. The seedlings developed are native TNGHS plants, local fruit plants and production plants. In the provision of plant seeds, the company partly buys from the forestry service producers of native TNGHS plants by means of seeding in sowing beds, taking saplings and rotating techniques. 3) Native Tree Research and Education Center (P4TA) Nursery Facility: The company's commitment in preserving biodiversity is also manifested in cooperation with the Ministry of Forestry to establish the P4TA Biodiversity Conservation Center. P4TA was inaugurated by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia on December 27, 2010 with a capacity of 100,000 seedlings in the short term and medium to long term will be developed to 500,000 seedlings. The implementation is carried out in collaboration with PT Rimbawan Bangun Lestari (RBL). 4) Planting: planting is done internally and externally. Planting is done by making a planting hole (pot) system with a depth of approximately 50 cm from the soil surface. After planting the seedlings, compact the soil around them and add compost. d. Maintenance Plant maintenance is carried out every three months in the first year and six months in the following year. If the plants have been able to adapt to the surrounding environment or can be said to be thriving, maintenance activities are stopped so that the plants do not always depend on fertilization and watering. Some of the activities carried out are replanting and fertilizing. The company's activities include replanting. Replanting is replacing dead seedlings with new ones to maintain plant uniformity at the reclaimed site.
