Historical Themes History of fossils Human fossil evolution Prosimian and Anthropoid are the two subgroups within the primate order. The group of primates known as anthropopoids, which includes humans, aves, and monkeys and apes, have bigger brains on average. Primates known as prosimians existed before apes. Tarsiers and lemurs are two examples. Prosmian features include having nails on the fingers, having the thumb move in all directions, and having forward-facing eyes. In the Eosin era, the prosmians went extinct. Africa is where the Homind's development started. It is estimated that the genus Australopithecus and other early hominins first appeared 3.8 million years ago. The following sums up the history of the finding of Homind fossils: a) Johanson found Australophitecus Afarensis (Lucy), a diminutive Homind, in Euthopia in 1974. Its traits include being around 1.5 cm (three feet) tall, with a pointed face, ape-like skull bones, a tiny brain capacity of 450–550 CC, primitive dentition, and two long fangs. It is estimated that at this point, it is unable to communicate, create tools, or utilize fire. According to some experts, Austropithecus A.Africanus, a more sophisticated species, developed from A.Afarensis. Raymond Dart made the discovery of Australophitecus Africanus in South Africa in 1829. These are some of its traits: relatively short stature, erect gait, hands and teeth arranged differently from human, and consumption of both plants and animals. Numerous locations in Africa are home to Homo Habilis. It is believed that Homo Habilis lived for almost half a million years and made over 1.9 million appearances. Features include the following: a 650 CC average brain volume and the ability to create tools for cutting and mashing stone. According to physical traits, H.Habilis is thought to be descended from A. Africanus. d) Homo Erectus lived throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa. However, H.Erectus really left Africa and moved to Europe and Asia. This is because the earliest known fossil, an A. erectus, was found in Africa and dates back 1.5–1.6 million years. 200,000 years ago, fossil A.Erectus was found throughout Asia and Europe. The following characteristics are present: a brain volume of 850–1200 CM3, a body larger than that of H. Habilis, the ability to walk on two legs (bipedalism), the ability to stand up straight, the ability to produce more sophisticated stone tools, the ability to wear clothing, the ability to make fire, the ability to build huts or live in caves. In Germany, among the Neanderthals, Homo sapiens was found. fossil H.We refer to these humans as Neanderthal man. The Neanderthal is a member of Group H.the most ancient Homo sapiens. Additionally, this group dispersed across Eurasia. Its features include a short, robust build, a brain volume that is marginally greater than that of Homo sapiens, a distinctive face that can sculpt tools more precisely, the need to search for food, and the practice of ritualistic or religious rites. It is still unknown why Neanderthal man went extinct. Some experts believe they became extinct because they were unable to adapt to the changing temperature during the Pleistocene epoch or because they were unable to compete.
