Monastic Influence: Monasteries like Clonmacnoise, Glendalough, and Skellig Michael played crucial roles in preserving knowledge and religious practices during the Dark Ages. These monastic settlements produced illuminated manuscripts, such as the Book of Kells, which are considered masterpieces of Christian art. Cultural Impact Festivals and Traditions: Many Irish festivals and traditions have Christian origins, such as St. Patrick's Day, which celebrates the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. Other celebrations like Christmas and Easter are widely observed with unique Irish customs and practices. Architecture: Ireland is home to numerous historic churches, cathedrals, and abbeys, such as St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin and the Rock of Cashel.
