Constructor, Inheritance and Method Overriding Constructor Constructor is a method that is executed when an object of a 'class' is created, can accept no return value, and the name of a method must be the same as the name of the 'class'. Example : class Hero { var armor; var hp; Hero() { armor = 100; hp = 120; } } Inheritance This concept allows a class to "inherit" properties and behaviors from another class. The inheriting class is called a child class or subclass, while the inheriting class is called a parent class or superclass. which aims to make the properties of the existing class available to the new class. Example: //inheritance class Hero { var armor; var hp; Hero() { armor = 100; hp = 120; } } class Hero01 extends Hero { Hero01() { armor = 110; hp = 100; } } How to use inheritance void main() { var h1 = Hero(); print(h1.hp); var h2 = Hero01(); print(h2.hp); } image 1 output inheritance Method Overriding Method overriding is rewriting an existing method in the "superclass" which aims to make a class can have the same method with a different process, so a derived class can "replace" or "overwrite" the implementation of methods that already exist in its parent class. How to do overriding Declare methods in the parent class (superclass) that perform inheritance which will be overwritten in the subclass. Create a subclass and declare the method to be overwritten. Use the @override annotation before the method declaration to indicate that you are overriding.
