The education system must pay attention to cultural values, because the existing culture will come to help the acculturation in the educational process that is carried out. Education is a form of manifestation of human art and culture that continues to change, develop and as the most rational and possible alternative to make a change or development. As previously stated, social change is a change that occurs in the structure and function of the social system, which includes education, because education exists in society, be it formal, informal or non-formal education. Education exists because of the existence of a social system that plays a role in it, so education and society have a very close relationship and interdependence. Therefore, education is an assistance in which there is community service so that society continues to develop and advance with education, because education is a process of maturing and growing society. Slow social changes will also have an impact on education, for example, with the rapid increase in population, schools need to be provided to accommodate these students, so that educational facilities and social needs of society for education in order to face an increasingly complex life really need education to prepare society itself in facing the development of the times. The Indonesian nation's efforts to eradicate ignorance by requiring nine years of basic education are efforts to prepare society to face the changes that occur. Along with the changes in knowledge and skills that can later be used or practiced in real life, social change as a result of changes in educational orientation will also occur. If we see social change as an impact of the development of technology, it is very easy for people to access the internet for negative things, we also witness a lot of cheating, dishonesty, and many negative actions that are contrary to norms as an impact of social change, therefore an education system is needed that can prepare society not to do such actions. Another impact of social change on education is with the continued development of a curriculum that is able to answer the challenges of change, as well as the impact on changes in the education management system that is oriented towards quality (quality oriented), namely increasing the quality of superior learning so as to produce quality output. Social change that occurs in a society greatly influences education, but not all social changes that occur have a positive impact, but there are also social changes that have bad consequences for the world of education, here are the positive and negative sides of social change on education: 1. Positive impact. The positive side of social change for education is that it can increase the level of education in community life so that it can produce people who are ready to face social change. 2. Negative impacts While the negative impacts of such rapid technology create many external cultural influences that penetrate life and way of life. Television broadcasts and internet access that are commonly done anywhere, are a challenge for the world of education to anticipate them, if not ready for these changes, then anyone will be displaced, but if not then education activists always innovate and create in anticipating these changes, by using these technological facilities. Another influence of social change on education is the transformation of thinking in education, along with social changes that occur in society, education also experiences changes. A more concrete thing about the influence of social change on education is when social change leads to economic improvements in society and demands that they meet the need for technological results, such as: computers/laptops, then when a child gets an assignment from his teacher to make a simple paper whose materials are available via the internet, then the impact and influence of social change are direct and clear. By looking at the development of educational institutions that are oriented towards science and technology as a result of changing society, many school visions prioritize science and technology orientation, because on the other hand society also demands educational institutions that follow developments and are able to prepare their children to face the future. Therefore, the social changes that occur are very related and have an impact on education (schools).
