The Guards at Mantua, would not permit him entry, as they feared he had been visiting people that were ill with the plague. He returns Friar Laurence’s letter. Friar Laurence then decides to get over the Capulet’s Monument so Juliet is not alone when she wakes up. 4. What does Friar Laurence plan to do, once he has the conversation with Friar John? o Send Romeo a message o Get Juliet out of the Capulet’s tomb o Go fetch Romeo himself o Wait for Juliet to wake, with out Romeo 5.
