The various‬ ‭managers indicate where changes or additions are necessary. Prioritization is‬ ‭possible, for example, taking place on the basis of the critical success factors or on‬ ‭the basis of failure risks. Of course, the‬ ‭need for management information appears to be just as dynamic as the factors‬ ‭from the toll model are subject to change.‬ ‭ he typology approach‬ T ‭In contrast to the contingency approach, the typology approach considers the‬ ‭factors of the toll model in relation to each other. The steps to be taken are:‬ ‭1.‬ ‭Determine the most relevant toll type based on the appearance of the factors. It will‬ ‭not always be the case that an organization coincides one-on-one with one of the‬ ‭distinguished types. The point is to choose the type that most closely resembles‬ ‭reality;‬ ‭2.‬‭Choose the associated management information need based on the most suitable tool type;‬ ‭3.‬‭T hen determine which process type (trading company, production company, etc.) it concerns;‬ ‭4.‬ N ‭ ow supplement the information need based on the toll typology with the information‬ ‭need based on the functional processes;‬ ‭5.‬ P ‭ erfect the inventory based on the toll type deviations and the specific‬ ‭requirements and wishes of the users.‬
