Act V, Scene i: 13. Why is Romeo feeling happy at the beginning of Act V, Scene 1? He has had a dream that he died, but that Juliet found him and kissed him back to life. 14. Romeo obtains poison. He gives the poor apothecary 40 ducats of gold. What does Romeo say has killed more men than poison. Romeo says that gold has killed more men than any other poison. Act V, Scene ii: 18. How is Friar John prevented from going to Mantua to deliver Friar Lawrence's letter? He is locked in a house that is believed to contain people with the plague. He must send another letter to Romeo and go to Juliet in the tomb before she awakes. Act V, Scene iii: 20. Why does Paris think Romeo has come to the Capulets' tomb?
