Detection of Polarized Wave Given wave: Can be plane-polarized (P.P.), circularly polarized (C.P.), or elliptically polarized (E.P.). Rotating polarizer: A Nicol prism used to analyze the polarization of light. Pass axis: The axis through which light can pass.
