Coronavirus advice for businesses in Scotland

The Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) has opened for applications. It supports term loans, overdrafts, invoice finance and more. It can provide facilities of up to £5 million for smaller businesses across the UK who are experiencing lost or deferred revenues, leading to disruptions to their cashflow.

Changes have been made to business rates for 2020-21 along with extra rates relief. 

Job retention support and deferring VAT and Income Tax payments has been announced by the UK Government. 

Childcare provision for key workers information has been released by the Scottish Government.

To help business owners, the Scottish Government have made changes to the non-domestic rates (business rates) for 2020-21 along with extra rates relief.
