At P = 3.0 atm, Zab = 1.0×109 collisions/s, λ = 1.3×10-6 m. At P = 3.0×10-6 atm, Zab = 1000 collisions/s, λ = 1.2 m. The results are consistent with expectations, because at lower pressure there are fewer particles per unit volume, hence fewer collisions and longer distances traveled between collisions.
