How will you make it through times of suffering? (2 Timothy 3:12) 1. Use the following scriptures and list 13 points that indicate an attitude to have, something to remember, or a mindset that will help you to endure and grow stronger in times of suffering. Hebrews 12:5-17, James 1:2-8, 1 Peter 4:1-19, 2 Corinthians 12:7-10, Job 23:10 1.We should not lose heart 2.The Lord will discipline the ones that he loves 3.He will chasten everyone who he accepts as his son 4.everyone undergoes some sort of discipline from God 5.you are not legitimate or justified if you are not disciplined 6.God will discipline us for our own good - this is beneficial to us 7.Discipline produces a creation of righteousness and peace within people and in the world 8.Without holiness no one will be able to see the Lord 9.the testing of your faith produces perseverance and a humbleness of oneself under the lord 10. Ask for wisdom from God because he is generous and all-knowing 11. You should not expect to receive anything from the Lord if we expect, we are not following his morals 12. We should never doubt God 13. We need to love each other deeply as love helps cover over sin and cures/cleanses one soul - just as repentance does Write a 75 word essay using those 13 points to give advice to "Joe" in the following scenario... Everyone will experience some sort of loss/rejection because of our faith in the Lord God, but this is what makes you a Christian, John. Do not worry, we will be disciplined, because God disciplines everyone he loves. He will also chasten everyone he loves, so have faith. No matter what, everyone undergoes a discipline under God. He does this for our own good. We are not legitimate if we are not disciplined. This discipline creates righteousness within oneself. People testing your faith produces perseverance and humbleness of oneself. We should not expect to receive anything from God. We should never doubt God and should love your enemies and friends.
