Zaylie Arnett Dangers of Smoking/Vaping ● Smoking and Vaping can cause various diseases such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung diseases, and diabetes. Although, it can cause more too. ● Exposure to heavy metals in e-cigarettes or vapes can have serious health consequences. ● Vaping can cause a disease commonly known as popcorn lung that is very dangerous and harmful to your body. Dangers of Alcohol use ● Research studies show that people who do drink Alcohol fluently are more at risk for cancer of the mouth, throat, esophagus, voice box, liver, colon, and rectum. ● Drinking alcohol is shown to lead to high blood pressure. ● Alcohol impacts brain areas that control cognitive and motor skills, slowing them down Dangers of Marijuana use ● Using Marijuana causes people’s heart to beat and work harder. ● Makes some people feel depressed, working as a depressant towards the user. ● Many diseases and illnesses come with using this drug. Coughing and phlegm on a daily basis, more at risk for lung disease, and a higher risk of lung infections are among these issues.
