Proposal Speech
When I first laid eyes upon you, my lady, the stars shook from your unparalleled
charm. Your skin fairer than a white rose, your eyes sparkled brighter than sapphires,
your hair, as radiant as the God of Gods. As I stood in awe, your dignified stance and
wit naturally revealed itself, greater than any person I’ve known. I’ve contended the
messenger of death, a powerful general, countless dragons and even the wrath of the
evil Saint Nickolas who caused havoc in your empire for generations. All the deeds, all
the sins, both happiness and pain, for the cause of this belonging, this is but a scratch,
but only for your very longing. In my long journey, I’ve travelled far and wide and never
failed to lose my way wherever I went. Your beauty was the illumination that guided me
towards novelty to grasp light, of which you were my end path. Allow me to embark on
this journey of life, something incomplete and in need of extravagance in your true form.
I ask that I share your joy and that you share mine, I want you to share my success and
defeat, and that your life may become mine, and mine may forever serve yours until the
end of time through marriage. My crusade for happiness and purpose has come to an
end. I’ve found everything I could ever ask for, and that is you. Queen Elandra, will you
marry me?
