Name of the Governor Governor, Province of (Province Name) ___ City, (Province), Philippines Dear Governor ___, Good Day Sir, I am ______, an incoming second-year (2nd year) college student of (Name of the School), (Course). I am writing this letter to express my intention to apply for a scholarship. The small amount of money we gain from my father’s farming is barely enough to sustain my families everyday expense such as our expenses for food, schooling and other necessities we need to live. With that, a scholarship grant will be a great help not only to me but to my whole family as it can helped my parents to sustain my educational needs for I doesn’t need to ask allowance from my parent anymore, especially those upcoming school expenses as full time face-to-face classes will be implemented anytime soon. If I’m granted a scholarship, I promised to strive harder on my study so that this grant will not go on wasted and it will give me more motivation to pursue my course.
