The main objective of waste separation and collection is to ensure that waste can be processed and disposed of in the most appropriate manner to prevent environmental pollution and minimize negative impacts on human health and the environment. Waste segregation involves classifying waste into different categories based on their properties, composition, or hazards. This can include separation between solid waste, liquid waste, and gaseous waste, as well as separation based on the type or materials contained in the waste, such as organic waste, non-organic waste, or hazardous waste. This separation allows waste to be managed separately according to their respective characteristics. After the separation is carried out, the waste is then collected according to predetermined categories. Waste collection can be done in various ways, such as using special containers or containers, using a channel or pipe system for liquid waste, or using a suction or ventilation system for gas waste.
