Hubris sets up blindness to one's own abilities (Tragic Flaw)
4. The action of the Downfall
The change in focus leads to the downfall of that character
Total deprivation to him and whoever is connected to him at the end
5. Discovery - Self Knowledge
The recognition of something that was previously unknown
Happened in the play when it is too late to reverse it
The Character already knows this - but its too late to turn around
6. Catharsis
Feeling of pity that is intensified and finally released
Leaves the audience with the sense of release of Pity and Fear - Aristotle
Question to ask yourself: Do we see any evidence of the tragic flaw that is setting up
