THE THREE GOALS OF SCIENTIFIC ENTERPRISE: 1. MEASUREMENT AND DESCRIPTION: It helps in developing a measurement technique for observable behavior. Each and every science needs a tool for measuring (The observable behavior). 2. UNDERSTANDING AND PREDICTION: Understanding is a higher level among goals. We predict in order to understand and we understand in order to explain. The prediction is called hypothesis. It is the tentative relation between two or more variables. This goal gives focus on making hypothesis. 3. APPLICATION AND CONTROL: After having a proper understanding of the issues and making the hypothesis from it, it is then applied in real life in practical situations. Using gathered information in a practical setting.
