Clean air, characterized by minimal levels of pollutants like PM2.5, NO2, SO2, and O3, stands as an indispensable element for the continuation of life on our planet. In contrast, poor air quality, often stemming from human activities such as industrial emissions, transportation, and deforestation, brings forth substantial health hazards. It can engender respiratory ailments, cardiovascular complications, and even untimely mortality, with particularly heightened risks affecting vulnerable populations. Moreover, the deterioration of air quality inflicts harm upon ecosystems, leading to the degradation of vegetation and the disruption of aquatic habitats. The consequences extend to the realm of acid rain, an outcome of emissions like sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, which exacts devastation upon forests and aquatic ecosystems. Ground-level ozone further contributes to harm by causing crop damage and diminished agricultural yields.
