Can any obstacle or disadvantage be turned into something good? Some people think obstacles and disadvantages can be turned into something good. Other people think obstacles and disadvantages can be insurmountable. An actor said, “I can’t get in, the chair is in the way.” And the producer said, “Use the difficulty. If it’s a drama, pick the chair up and smash it. If it’s a comedy, fall over it.” Although obstacles or disadvantages can be insurmountable, I believe that obstacles or disadvantages can be turned into something good because there are some things like obstacles that also give us some benefits or advantages in our daily life. Obstacles or disadvantages can be insurmountable in some ways. When you are unfortunately stuck in a big crowd while holding a lot of stuff in your hand, it would be extremely hard to get out of the crowd. There are other things like when a blizzard occurs in your place, it would be impossible to get out of your house. If a natural disaster like a tsunami or hurricane happens in your area, a lot of important stuff going to be destroyed because natural disasters like hurricanes or tsunamis are too great to overcome. In fact, when your house is flooded with water, it is going to be difficult to survive as all the foodstuffs have been ruined. However, not all the obstacles are too great to overcome. Although obstacles or disadvantages can be insurmountable, I believe that obstacles and disadvantages can be turned into something good because there are obstacles that can be easily turned into an advantage for us. When you are stuck in heavy traffic while heading to school and suddenly all the teachers from your school inform every parent that a lot of students in your school got infected by covid or other diseases which can spread like wildfire. Other than that, after the American Revolutionary War, the Americans gain independence from the British Crown, establishing the constitution that created the United States of America, the first modern constitutional liberal democracy. Furthermore, when it’s raining heavily, some people deny going outside because they are afraid of a thunderstorm but they didn’t know that rain also helps to keep the environment clean by preventing the environment from air pollution and to prevent plants from dying by providing rainwater for the plant to stay healthy. Moreover, some people think that having pets like dogs or cats can make their life miserable. In other ways, dogs can guard your house from getting robbed, and cats can make you feel satisfied by petting or playing with them. Some people think that having war will create a disastrous situation. But not only that, war also brings progress which gives us a lot of benefits like greater law and order, social benefits, and improved education. These are the reasons why obstacles can be turned into something good. In conclusion, some people believe that obstacles can be too great to overcome and others believe that obstacles can be turned into something good. Even though obstacles can be too great to overcome, I believe that there are obstacles that can be a great advantage for us.
