Analysis of Abnormal Constituents of Urine Aim:- Urine analysis is performed to defeel abnormal constituents that indicate a pathological State. Physical constituents of the abnormal urine. This includes Volume, colour, appearance, odoire, Specific gravity. Volume:- Anuria-Shock, total Urinary obstruction, oliguria delychat acute glomerulonephritis, polyuria diabetes and Addison difer Appearance: Turbid due to epithelial Cells, WBC's, bacteria, Meer and Smoky due to presence of blood -Colour:- draw yellow due to bilirubin, Milky dueto pus and Chyluria, red colour due to RBC's brownish black due to melanin PH:- acidic in Uremia, Ketosis, Starvation, Severe, diariholland alkaline Seen in Severe vomiting curine relation Specific gravity:- It increases in hyperthermia seen in dehydration Diabetic mellitus, low fluid in take. It decrease is hypoesthesia Seen in diabetes inspires/spicy hypertension pyelonephritis, PER
